Security guard bashes colleague

Sipho Ncube (45) appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware who remanded him out of custody to December 10.

A 45-year-old Plumtree-based security guard is in trouble after he allegedly assaulted his colleague with a metal pipe following a dispute over tobacco rolling paper.

Sipho Ncube (45) appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware who remanded him out of custody to December 10.

Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa alleged that on November 2, the duo was at work at Lot 2 Mananda Farm in Figtree when they had a misunderstanding over a tobacco rolling paper.

In the heat of things, Ncube picked a metal pipe which he used to assault his colleague all over.

A police report was filed leading to Ncube’s arrest.
