A WOMAN from Nguboyenja in Bulawayo is appealing for funding to take her child who has a heart problem to India for special surgery.

In an interview yesterday, Patience Dube told Southern Eye that her child, Vanessa Moreblessing Mpofu, has a heart condition called Tetralogy Fallot.

She said Vanessa was born as a seven-month pre-term baby on September 5, 2022.

Dube said Vannesa had been suffering from the condition since birth and was on medication while awaiting the surgery.

She said the surgery was not available in Zimbabwe, but in India and other countries.

Dube said she had acquired a US$6 400 quotation in India for the surgery.

She appealed to those willing to help with funds for her child to undergo surgery to contact her on +263775322619.

She said those willing to assist could deposit money in her FBC Bank account number 3020274192982.
