Innovation is our currency: Pam Royal Events

This assertion rings true for Pam Royal Events, an events company founded by top creative and enterprising corporate executive Pamela Mugara over 13 years ago.

An age old saying goes; “When you do what you love, it’s not work but fun, the money becomes cherry on top”.

This assertion rings true for Pam Royal Events, an events company founded by top creative and enterprising corporate executive Pamela Mugara over 13 years ago.

“The company has its roots in my passion for creating memorable experiences which dates back to my early days in the hospitality and decor department at church,” Mugara said.

“For years I spent countless hours serving God by hosting others and striving to make their church experience pleasant.

“That experience deepened my love to serve and equally strengthened my resolve to start an events planning venture.”

The church experience coupled with her love for baking led to the establishment of Pam Cakes Zim and  that coupled with her passion for hosting and coordinating events led to unprecedented growth in her career path.

“As I continued to nurture my passion for events, I also pursued my love for baking where I would create custom cakes for special occasions hence the entrenched passion in events planning,” Mugara said.

“That realisation coupled with my experience in the culinary industry and my passion for hospitality eventually led to Pam Royal Events, a brand which is riding on experience, skills and innovation to help others create unforgettable events that leave a lasting impression.”

The company’s unparalleled workmanship and innovation has seen it offer a range of services including wedding planning, corporate events and custom decorations.

“We have become a market leader in our industry thanks to our professionalism, workmanship and attention to detail in our work,” Mugara said.

“Every job is a signature effort and we are highly encouraged by the support and confidence we are receiving from the market. We pledge to continue providing the best service possible to our varied clients across sectors in Zimbabwe and beyond.”

Pam Royal Events recently hogged the limelight after they delivered the stunning first ever 1 000 roses bouquet  plus a life size card to a client on Valentine’s Day.

“The 1 000 roses bouquet was a masterpiece that showcases Pam Royal Events’ unparalleled creativity and attention to detail,” Mugara said.

“The inspiration behind this breathtaking arrangement was sparked by a small picture which I envisioned as a grand gesture to express the magnitude of love.”

While the 1 000 roses became the talk of town and got numerous hits on digital platforms, Mugara reckons a lot of work went into the project.

“After conceptualising the idea, I was determined to turn this vision into reality, hence I had to meticulously plan every aspect, from the structural framework to the delicate flower,” she said.

“I ensured that every team member, from the carpenters to the flower arrangers, understood the assignment and shared her passion for creating something extraordinary.”

When the bouquet was then delivered with the respected saxophonist, Sax Guru in town, the result was magic and the whole country went agog as the undertaking received amazing reviews.

Pam Royal Events has continued to enjoy a good share of the market across its service portfolio thanks to uniqueness and high levels of professionalism.

“At Pam Royal Events we value emotional connection with the market, creativity and originality in our work and pay attention to detail in all that we do for the client,” Mugara said.

“We also ensure that the client enjoys a personalised service by providing a hands-on approach to job execution which ensures a stress free experience for the client.”

As the company continues to disrupt and reinvent in sync with industry dynamics, it is providing unique services to different clientele including golfers.

“We are the go to company for different clientele be they individuals, corporates or associations,” Mugara said.

“For example, we have been working with the Huni golf Society and we have planned their annual year end Huruyadzo Golf Tournament for three years in a row.

“In 2024 the price table had more than 30 prizes through Pam Royal Events planning and networks and we are humbled by such achievements.”

The Pam Royal Events boss also shared some plans for the future as the company explores way to conquer the market.

“We are going all out in our quest for growth and we are currently looking for land to build a tailored wedding venue where we can also host corporate events and all sorts of functions to our taste and standards,” she said.

“We also want  to open an events training school for people with the same passion  so that we entrench the highest levels of professionalism in this sector.”

As the company continues to grow and scale new heights, it is hoped the same level of creativity and innovation remains central to their operations.
