Confession Booth podcast a hit

WITH only three episodes into its first season, the Confession booth podcast hosted by media personality Alex “Zezuru Rockstar” Gusha and FadzI “Tete Fadzi” Mutwira has become an instant hit on YouTube.

The show’s production is done by multi award winning studio Eleven Dogs Production and aired through its distribution channel Hakustream on all social media Platforms.

The production is a serious no-holds-barred show that sees people anonymously send in their stories and confessions. The show rolls into life based on these true stories.

It's hosts tackle issues that bring the spark and discussion, with issues ranging from relationships, money, sex and love.

The producer and director Henry Hakulandaba said the show is therapeutic and helps in mental health awareness.

“There is need for confession shows like this that talks about what's happening in our social circles and help as a form of therapy and counselling, with the growing issues to do with Mental health people need to know they are not alone and by sharing their stories they get advice and therapy,” he said.

“Soon, we will be inviting professional counsellors and elders to be part of the show to give their one minute take on issues at hand.”

Eleven Dogs Production has well-known productions such as the State of the nation that used to be hosted by the late Zororo Makamba and now Oscar Mutaruka, View point with Kuda Mangwe, The Link hosted by Ruvheneko Parirenyetwa, Weekly Dose by Admire Kuzhangaira (Bhutisi), The Tea with MisRed. The studio is working on producing three new shows that will be ready in January.

Zezuru rockstar is not new to podcasts, he is also part of a trio with Patience Musa and musician Prayersoul who host the Threesum podcast.
