Sex worker steals US$900 from client

She pleaded guilty to the charge before Magistrate Ruramai Chitumbura.

A Shamva-based artisanal miner was left counting his losses after a sex worker drugged him and stole his US$$900 after a short time sex session.

Tinashe Machingafa had no option, but to report the sex worker Monalisa Mutize to the police.

Mutize was arrested and dragged to Shamva magistrate court on Friday.

She pleaded guilty to the charge before Magistrate Ruramai Chitumbura.

She was slapped with 420 hours of community service and ordered to restitute the miner.

Prosecutor Munyaradzi Nengomasha said on April 3, Machingafa hired Mutize for a sex session and the two went to a lodge.

After they had sex, Mutize went out of the room and came with an open beer.

Machingafa fell unconscious after drinking the beer and only woke up the following morning.

He discovered that his $900 had been stolen and he filed a police report.
