SOUTH African music star Eemoh is set to take the stage by storm at the second anniversary celebrations of Shawmore Podcast, scheduled to take place in Bulawayo on December 15.

The highly anticipated event promises an unforgettable experience, with Eemoh’s energetic performance expected to thrill fans and leave a lasting impression.

Eemoh is an amapiano artiste who is well known for his hit songs Sgudi Sync, Masithokoze, Dubula and Mpumelelo, which he did in collaboration with several industry heavyweights who include Master KG, Da Muziqal Chef, De Mthuda and Harry Cane, among others.

Speaking to NewsDay Life & Style, event co-ordinator and Podcast chief executive officer Shawn Sibanda revealed his excitement over the growth of the odcast.

He said the Shawmore Podcast would be marking two years of entertaining and inspiring audiences and Eemoh’s presence would be a testament to the platform’s growing influence and appeal.

“The journey has been one (hell) of a ride. I started with doing YouTube skits and they became boring, which forced me to take a break from YouTube for a year,” he said.

“I moved to only using YouTube to watch other people’s content. One day, I bumped into McG’s Podcast and Chill and I became a fan of it. I became addicted to that show.”

Sibanda mentioned that the Podcast and Chill inspired him and gave him an idea to start his own podcast in Bulawayo.

He said he started podcasting on November 17, 2022, adding that his podcast discussed pressing matters in the community like drugs and the youths.

They also conduct interviews and conversations with artistes, guests and influencers who are impactful to the audience.

“Having to interview Vuyo Brown on the platform was the biggest highlight of the podcast so far because I am a super fan of hers,” Sibanda added.

“We believe that this platform is Africa’s rising podcasting network.”

He said the event would be filled with excitement as they would also conduct an interview with Eemoh on the same day.

“Eemoh will headline the performance and he will perform alongside other up-and-coming artistes from Bulawayo, who include Mankind, KingTroy, Black Forever Paris and K Sliq, among others,” Sibanda said.

“We are going to be having a special edition of a live podcast recording on the day of the celebrations and the podcast episode will be featuring him as a guest.”

He added: “It has really been a milestone and the journey has not been easy at all. we have faced lots challenges. Sometimes our guests or artistes would not even show up for shooting or came very late, disrupting the shooting schedule.

“Load-shedding has been another huge challenge for us as it has badly affected our consistency in posting  content.”
