
Budding Afro-pop musician and brand influencer Stacy Macheso has bagged a renewable one year endorsement deal with leading engineering company Fumati Engineers.
Speaking to Standard Style, the musician said she was happy to work with the innovative engineering company, which is behind some of the flagship infrastructural projects in Zimbabwe among them stadiums, malls, schools, churches and other private properties.
“It’s a big honour for me to get signed up by a professional and fast rising engineering company whose ingenuity is evident in some of the flagship projects that they have completed and are currently working on across Zimbabwe,” said Stacy.
“As a creative, my goal is to entertain and make the greatest impact through my work and I am happy that beyond soothing music lovers with my compositions, I am also attracting the interest of leading brands in this manner.”
Fumati Engineers CEO and founder Tinashe Changweya said they were happy to engage young and promising talent in the mold of Stacy to be their brand ambassador.
“We are proud to announce our association with Stacy Macheso who joins the Fumati Engineers family as the brand ambassador and official face of the brand,” he said.
“We deliberately went for fresh and exciting talent as a departure from the overreliance on overused influencers who are now suffering from brand fatigue.
“This is a one year renewable deal and we hope to ride on this partnership to better educate our publics regarding our products and services.

“The response has been encouraging thus far and we will be rolling out a number of marketing campaigns and promotions to serve our clients better.”
Stacy said she was happy to work with Fumati Engineers as they contribute to the growth of the local economy through unparalleled innovation.
“It’s an honour to serve my community and country through Fumati Engineers, which specialises in mechanical engineering, fabrication, engineering, plant fitting, equipment production and services,” she said.
“The company has helped leading brands grow their work through erecting some befitting infrastructure around Zimbabwe.
“Fumati Engineers also designs and produces equipment for local industry and I am inspired to start other business ventures of my own just by seeing what they produce.”
The young musician, composer and influencer recorded steady growth since she followed her father’s footsteps into the music industry a few years back.
Shas also been enrolled on a fully-funded scholarship by the International Coaching and Mentorship Foundation in recognition of her clarity of intent and music exploits.
“The future looks promising and one of my recent singles Madiro Mundiro which comes on the backdrop of a four-track album last year is also doing well on national radio with the video also receiving some fair rotation on National TV,” she said.
“While the Fumati Engineers deal is a new high, I have previously worked with a number of brands in Zimbabwe among them Organisation for Women in International Trade Zimbabwe, Preeminence Hardware and Fruit Cool, among others.
“The International Coaching and Mentoring Foundation has also offered me a fully funded scholarship to help horn my talent and sharpen my administrative and business skills she said.”
Over the years, a number of brands have engaged influencers and celebrities to help them position their brand for growth and it is hoped the Fumati Engineers and Stacy pact will bring the desired results.
