Real Tingz releases new single Misodzi

In an interview with The Standard Style, Real Tingz explained that Misodzi emphasises trusting God during times of pain and need.

Harare-based gospel musician Prince Respect Madzinga, known by his stage name Real Tingz, released a new single titled Misodzi featuring Terry Africa on June 5.

In an interview with The Standard Style, Real Tingz explained that Misodzi emphasises trusting God during times of pain and need.

“Misodzi is a single track that emphasises trusting God during times of pain and need,” he said.

“It highlights the belief that God is the only one with answers and encourages listeners to turn to Him when facing difficult times.

“Additionally, the song conveys the message that crying out to God in times of trouble will prompt Him to send His angels to assist, comfort, and acknowledge the depths of one's heart without the need for words.”

Real Tingz said the song will bless listeners with its uplifting and soulful melody.

“Misodzi will bless its listeners with its uplifting and soulful melody,” he said.

“It aims to captivate audiences across different cultures and regions, spreading its message of joy and positivity through music.

“Misodzi," the title of the song, is expected to give people a reality check on the basics of life.

“We all have problems: starvation, unemployment, marriage difficulties, and secrets of the heart. Who can we trust with all these?

“Can I trust my neighbour, friend, relative, or partner? The answer is no. In times like this, only God has all the answers."

“He is the problem solver for all our problems, and we can cry out to Him because He is there to keep our secrets, which some people can't keep.”

Real Tingz said he calls his music “Kingdom Music,” which falls under the umbrella of gospel music.

He started his music career in 2010 and has been working under the supervision of Kingdom's Swag, an organisation founded by Coach Tariro Mukunga.

Kingdom's Swag is an organisation under the No Limits movement that mainly focuses on uplifting young people and giving them direction with the Kingdom of God's values: "clean music" – music that is there to bring sanity to this generation and the next.

Real Tingz released his first album in 2016 titled Shandisa Mukana, followed by My Life in 2017 and Never Give Up in 2018.

He also collaborated on a single track with Ngoni Kambarami called Tenda and another one with Trevor D called Ndasimudzirwa  NaJesu.

Real Tingz said he was working with upcoming artists to pass on his knowledge and has written over 50 songs since 2019 that are yet to be distributed.
