“Fusing indierock and Afro-pop, Tsunami is a lighthearted cheerful and danceable track, much different from my previous release.
“This song is a showcase of my colourful range as it is filled with positive and joyful lyrics, a stark contrast to the brooding, introspective lyrics of my previous release Maiwe.
“Trading in the bright acoustic guitars and minor chords Tsunami takes on a more vibrant sound with electric guitars, exuberant drums and positive major chords.
“The modern sound of Afro-pop fused with rock guitar chords reminiscent of the early 2000s provides the perfect balance of afropunk.”
