DJ Ola takes podcast from city to city

DJ Ola said the idea will undoubtedly yield results as it will essentially grow his show.

POPULAR Podcaster DJ Ola has embarked on a city to city tour in a bid to promote the Ola Podcast.

The former Star FM DJ has been making strides in the industry of late through his YouTube based show, where he usually gets exclusive interviews with artists, mainly musicians from the local entertainment scene.

He explained to Standard Style the idea behind the tour, saying it has given him much needed feedback.

“I took it as a chance to network with other people who, were interested in the podcast and its content. It makes it easier to interact with the audience in a more personal way, which is the highlight of the campaign so far,” he said.

DJ Ola said the idea will undoubtedly yield results as it will essentially grow his show.

“When we talk of brand visibility and self-promotion, this is necessary as its giving direct feedback from the fans, what they like or don’t like. There is always room for growth and improvement,” he said.

The tour, which began on March 26, has so far gone Harare, Chitungwiza, Mutare, Marondera, Bulawayo and Gweru.
