Stolen solar battery found in a bedroom

Plumtree magistrates court

A Plumtree man is in hot soup after he allegedly stole a solar system battery and hid it in his bedroom.

The matter came to light at the Plumtree magistrates court where Micho Mugande appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware. Mugande was granted $30 bail.

Prosecutor Voster Makuwerere alleged that sometime in November the accused gained entry into Nobetina Dube’s house and stole a solar battery and an amplifier.

On December 16, Dube went to Mugande’s house and found his stolen property.

She filed a police report leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The stolen property all valued at 4 500 rands was recovered.
