“Its aim is to amplify the fashion industry in Zimbabwe giving a platform for local fashion designers to shine and showcase their proud African Designs to the public.

“In the same breath we are promoting arts, entertainment and culture through the art of modelling.”

The fashion festival has six fashion designers who will be showcasing their talent and these include Misfit, Royal Piece Jewellery, Ark Wear, Prolific Couture , Roxei and Flo as well as Cee MUA.

Ngoso urged fashion designers to work hard and raise the Zimbabwean flag in the fashion industry.

“I am urging these fashion designers to keep on thriving and push beyond limits in their art and creativity, to grow our nation’s fashion industry and raise the Zimbabwean flag higher,” he said.

Local artists and dance groups such as Excellent Kids Dance Group, Brizco, 9inetSIVE, Trigarkeiyz, Mid fit, Gamuemurasta, Miss Daisy, SuperBoi and HerGuy SUMR will perform at the event.
