GREEN FUEL... (1) 1

Relegation-haunted Arenel Movers came from behind to beat Green Fuel and boost their survival chances in an entertaining Premier Soccer League match at Luveve Stadium yesterday.

It was the Philani Ncube-coached side’s first win in five matches since they beat CAPS United at home on July 27 before going on a run of one draw and three defeats.

Veteran striker Donald Ngoma gave the visitors the lead nine minutes before the break before Toto Banda restored parity just before the hour mark.

Njabulo Ngwenya was the Arenel hero after he netted the winner with just a quarter of the match remaining.

With the win, Arenel managed to move off the basement of the log standings into 17th place with 21 points from 26 matches while Chegutu Pirates , who are in action today now occupy bottom place.

At Rufaro Stadium, Herentals FC turned on the power in the second half with two goals from Ali Maliselo and Dreamer Liyeto in stoppage giving the maximum points.

Maliselo opened the scoring with a thumping 58th minute header off  a Gray Kufandada cross before Liyeto ended the match as a contest three minutes into injury time.
