A BULAWAYO man refused to accept paternity for his two children even after DNA results declared that he was the father.
The man, Givemore Chekede, rejected the results saying the DNA tests were conducted at the National University of Science and Technology (Nust) against his will.
Chekede said this when he appeared before Western Commonage magistrate Mehluli Moyo after his estranged wife, Mazvita Chinyoka, took him to court demanding maintenance for their children.
"Justice, I just want justice. I am fighting for the rights of my daughters," screamed Chinyoka in court.
Chekede said he never agreed with Chinyoka to have the DNA tests done at the Nust Innovation Hub.
"We both need to be satisfied with the results hence am not accepting the NUST Innovation hub results," he said.
Moyo said the results proved that he was the father of the two children.
Chekede, however, rejected the results.

"I will not accept these results. I will go to another court," said Chekede.
