Three suspects from Mbizo, Kwekwe are languishing in remand prison after they were denied bail for housebreaking.
Midlands police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko identified the suspects as Mathias Marange (alias Chikule), (21), Ronald Masendu (25) and Auther Marima (36).
Mahoko said they were nabbed by a special crime crack team in Kwekwe after they were linked to seven house breaking cases.
“They made an initial appearance at Kwekwe magistrate court on January 27 and were remanded in custody until February 3,” Mahoko said.
“Property, linked to seven different breakings, has been identified by its owners.
“Some of the property is yet to be identified by the owners, and we also expect to continue making more recoveries, as investigations are continuing.”
The recovered stolen property a white (2019 model) Fotomate Projector; silver A02 Samsung cell phone; Black Huawei cell phone LDNL21; Black stage disco lights (hybrid HSE 5,4); Tolsen tools box; 4× 12 volts car batteries and a Ineco drill battery charger.
Other items include a Macce Mountain bike (black and blue in colour); 1× 100 watts flood lights; Set of 47 pieces T-handle wrench screwdrivers; 4 electricity breakers; Blue 5kgs gas tank and Toyota car radio.
