Gwanda residents have mobilised resources to help feed patients at the district hospital following concerns about food shortages at the institution.
The residents expressed concern over the plight of patients at the Gwanda District Hospital especially those without relatives in the town.
Gwanda mayor Thulani Moyo said the business community in the town was working with his office to mobilise resources to give wherever they can.
He indicated that providing essential resources is part of service delivery by the authorities.
“The hospital is well looked after and everything is going well as far as I am concerned,” Moyo said.
