A violent storm swept across Beitbridge Town last night and ripped off the roof of the CBZ Bank housed at the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Company Pension Fund Complex, fell several trees at Beitbridge District Hospital in the process plunging the border town into darkness from collapsed electricity poles.
The whole border town had no water supplies following electricty cuts to water pumps at the main supplier station while reports of other damages were still being reported in the district where fortunately no fatalities had been recorded.
