
ZIMBABWEAN celebrated film producer and news anchor Marc T Mandisoul returned home from the Cannes Film Festival 2025 with agreements to feature top actors in his forthcoming International film 3 Days in Africa.
The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival ran from May 13 to 24, where Mandisoul sealed deals with actors Ayse Top (Netherlands), Enrico Bresciani (Italy) and Munya Chidzonga (Zimbabwe) for the film.
The 3 Days in Africa film is a holiday crime thriller directed by Mandisoul, starring award-winning Dutch actress and supermodel Top, rising Italian star Bresciani and top Zimbabwean actors Ed Chamr, Paul Shephard, Nyasha Nhongo, Jermaine Cole Mandisoul, Winter Sky Mandisoul and Devante Ray Britte.
This is the much-awaited follow-up to Mandisoul's faith-based movie Dunamis. 3 Days in Africa will be shot in Zimbabwe in August and is scheduled for an early 2026 world premiere, pegged for February 14, with a worldwide release in cinemas. The film will stream online thereafter.
Top represented the Netherlands and emerged as one of the top 4 best international models and actresses at a star-studded event held during the Cannes Film Festival 2025.
Hollywood usually dominates awards and Top lit up the red carpet alongside global icons like Rihanna, Halle Berry and Tom Cruise, and walked the runway for celebrated designer Andres Aquino during the Global Short Film Awards Fashion Show.
The event had film legends and creative minds, including Cuba Gooding Jr, artist Emma Courage and World Fashion Expo founder Gigi Hobson (Dubai). Top also stunned in designs by Enoka Fashion, leaving a lasting impression on the international fashion scene.

When Italian movie star Tony Monterro arrives at a popular Zimbabwean resort to shoot his new movie "Vampire Weekend," his world is turned upside down as he falls in love with Nandipha Khumalo, the daughter of an underground crime lord. The chaotic movie set helmed by an eccentric director and multicultural cast members constantly at loggerheads provides an intriguing subplot. Law enforcement agents descend upon the resort in a bid to bring the Khumalo family and its foreign associates to justice, and in this character-driven multiplex story about love, crime, friendship, redemption and the unorthodox world of making a paranormal movie in Africa.
