THE Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) 2025 annual conference kicks off today, as executives meet to chart a new course amid a challenging macroeconomic environment.
Business this year has flagged exchange rate volatility, mounting tax obligations and new assessments, depressed liquidity, high borrowing costs, and policy flip-flop from authorities, among others.
The 2025 annual conference runs from today up to Saturday at the Elephant Hills Hotel in Victoria Falls.
This year’s conference runs under the theme, Unlocking Business Potential through Policy, Partnerships and Productivity.
The opening session will be opened by ZNCC president Tapiwa Karoro with solidarity remarks from the mayor of the City of Victoria Falls, Prince Thuso Moyo.
Malawi Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief executive officer Daisy Kambalami and Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Erick Rutto will also feature.
ZNCC public relations and marketing manager Melody Kaingidze told NewsDay Business that they have lined up activities such as the boat cruise on Friday.
“Other activities include the Inaugural Presidential Golf Challenge and a guided tour of the rainforest. All activities require prior registration,” she said.
