A new era beckons for African Sun

The business has consistently been an emblem of hospitality since its inception in 1968 as Zimbabwe Sun.

GIANT hospitality group, African Sun Limited, has taken a bold new route, transforming itself to provide more value for its customers, Standardbusiness has learnt.

The business has consistently been an emblem of hospitality since its inception in 1968 as Zimbabwe Sun.

With the passing of each year, the business has made it a mandate to develop services that suit various customer groups.

Now, with a refreshed vision, African Sun has invited travellers to experience their new mantra, Feel Special. Evolving with the times, the brand now aims to create unforgettable memories for each guest, going beyond just a place of rest to crafting experiences that linger long after their journey ends.

An executive at the hospitality group told this publication that they were committed to service excellence, which they have now personalised.

“From bespoke welcome experiences to curated local adventures, every detail is designed with the guest in mind,” the executive said.

“Our staff has been trained as 'guest ambassadors,' ensuring that every interaction is meaningful, going above and beyond to make each guest feel truly valued.”

This is a true testament to the transformation work the group has been undertaking.

As customers interact with the new-look African Sun, they will notice revitalised properties, with fresh designs and a change to the main logo and hotel logos.

The African Sun logo now features sleek fonts and vibrant orange rays, reflecting energy and positivity, while warm brown colours offer a comforting embrace.

The aesthetic changes are complemented by state-of-the-art facilities designed to cater to both leisure and business travellers, ensuring that every stay is as comfortable as it is memorable.

To further enhance the guest experience, African Sun Limited has introduced a range of upgraded amenities.

Luxurious spa treatments, gourmet dining options featuring local and international cuisine, and modern fitness centres are just a few of the offerings designed to make guests feel pampered and rejuvenated.

Each property is equipped with high-speed internet, catering to the needs of the modern traveller.

“Tourism is a huge contributor to our country’s inbound revenues, and such development will hopefully encourage more visits to these facilities,” the group said.
