Shashl's post hinted at a new release, promising "something soft, something new, stay tuned for “softly”.

Shashl, a popular Afrobeat and RnB artiste, is set to release a new single titled "Softly" next Saturday.

The announcement was made on her Instagram page, where she sported a purple outfit.

Shashl's post hinted at a new release, promising "something soft, something new, stay tuned for “softly”.

The artiste has previously released well-received songs like Deepisa and Remedy, which inspired fans to create videos on TikTok.

Shashl has made headlines not only for her music, but also for her relationship and a leaked sex tape with DJ Levels, a Zimbabwean record producer who co-owns Chillspot Records.

Shashl's musical journey began in 2017 with the release of her first song, No More.

Following that, she received nominations for Best Female Artist in the Southern African Region at the African Muzik Magazine Awards and Best Newcomer at the Zimbabwe Music Awards.
