THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League’s Matchday 21 brings a tantalising clash today as second-placed MWOS FC, surprising league debutants, host former champions FC Platinum at Ngoni Stadium.
This encounter pits two teams with contrasting, but impressive narratives against each other in what promises to be a battle for supremacy.
MWOS FC enter the match sitting comfortably in second position with 40 points, level on points with log leaders Simba Bhora, who only hold a superior goal difference.
Their remarkable season has seen them establish themselves as genuine title contenders.
However, they will be looking to bounce back from a recent defeat to Yadah FC, eager to appease their home supporters.
On the other side, FC Platinum arrive with an enviable record: they are the only unbeaten side in the league this season.
Despite their undefeated streak, they find themselves in sixth place with 28 points from 18 matches, having played two fewer games than MWOS.
Their consistency makes them a formidable opponent and they will be aiming to continue their climb up the table.
