HIGHLANDERS coach Try Ncube expressed frustration over his team's lack of a killer instinct after they were held to a goalless draw by Kwekwe United at Bata Stadium yesterday.
The result extends Bosso's winless streak to three games. They are yet to score since the sacking of coach Kelvin Kaindu last month.
Coming into the match, Highlanders hoped to end their dry spell, but a resilient Kwekwe United, despite their struggles, stood firm.
Kwekwe United started strongly, dominating the opening 15 minutes with Timothy January and Cedric Maruta forcing saves from Bosso goalkeeper Reward Muza.
Highlanders struggled to find their rhythm until the 18th minute when Hubert Ncube, picked out unmarked by Andrew Mbeba, had his powerful shot repelled by Kwekwe United's Elton Nechiware.
The second half saw a more lively Highlanders, but their inability to convert chances continued.

“It was a motivational match against Highlanders; everyone was motivated because it's a big team, and these are youngsters who want to make a name for themselves. For me, it stands out for the youngsters. A point is vital; you never know what will happen in the next games. You might win all the games, and that point will help us survive relegation."
