From Bulawayo to Harare: Road Wolf aims to dominate Zim’s luxury transport market

“As a premium coach operator, the unique value propositions that distinguish Road Wolf from other service providers are our commitment to customer comfort and safety,” Mugoma said.

ROAD Wolf Coaches, a premium intercity transport operator, has outlined ambitious plans to become Zimbabwe’s leading luxury coach service within five years, focusing on customer safety, comfort, and strategic expansion.

The company operates a luxury coach service between Bulawayo and Harare, which is growing rapidly in popularity.

Lisa Mugoma, Road Wolf Coaches Harare manager, said the company differentiates itself through a “customer-obsessed” approach, employing rigorously vetted drivers and maintaining strict schedules to ensure reliability.

“As a premium coach operator, the unique value propositions that distinguish Road Wolf from other service providers are our commitment to customer comfort and safety,” Mugoma said.

“We are customer-obsessed, offering a personalised service, and for safety, we employ vetted drivers who are trained to prioritise passenger safety and adhere to road regulations, ensuring we meet our customers’ needs.”

The company plans to expand its routes, invest in technology, and forge partnerships with travel agencies to strengthen its market presence.

“Over the next five years, our expansion plan in Zimbabwe’s transport sector aims to establish Road Wolf as the leading luxury intercity transport brand,” Mugoma said.

“We will achieve this by expanding our routes, increasing our presence through strategic investments in technology and partnerships.”

Road Wolf is already collaborating with tourism operators and online booking platforms to enhance accessibility.

“Yes, we are partnering with tourism operators, including travel agencies and online booking platforms, to broaden our reach and improve our service offerings,” Mugoma confirmed.

She noted growing demand for premium transport solutions in Zimbabwe, stating, “Regarding the current state and future outlook of Zimbabwe’s luxury transport segment, I believe there is a growing demand for integrated, people-centric solutions to drive economic development and improve citizens’ quality of life.”

To maintain service standards, Road Wolf conducts fleet inspections, provides staff training, and actively seeks customer feedback.

“We also actively seek customer feedback to ensure we not only meet but exceed their expectations,” Mugoma said.

Beyond its Harare-Bulawayo route, the company is assessing additional high-demand corridors.

Onboard amenities include reclining seats, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, charging ports, and complimentary refreshments.
