Mudiwa Hood seeks legal recourse over Holy Ten utterances

Mudiwa Hood claims that the comments damaged his reputation and expressed his disappointment and frustration over the constant attacks on his character.

Mudiwa Hood has reaffirmed his commitment to seeking justice, stating that he has not withdrawn his police case against Holy Ten and other individuals  behind  allegedly defamatory comments made during a podcast with DJ Ollah, with those implicated now facing questioning.

Mudiwa Hood claims that the comments damaged his reputation and expressed his disappointment and frustration over the constant attacks on his character.

Despite his efforts to maintain a positive public image, Mudiwa Hood alleges that he has been unfairly targeted and dragged down for likes and views.

In a  Facebook post last Friday, Mudiwa Hood emphasised that he has never engaged in scandalous behaviour, such as releasing sex tapes or nude photos, and has always tried to be a good role model for his son and the younger generation.

“I have preserved myself for as long as I can, I have never had a sex tape, no nudes, no drugs, never tasted alcohol all my life, never smoked, never abused anyone, no criminal record, but unfairly dragged for likes and views," Mudiwa Hood said.

“The law in Zimbabwe is very clear on this, and I will not let this matter go unchallenged.

“I will be a voice to many voiceless victims who have suffered in silence because they know no one, and they have either contemplated on suicide and even harming themselves because of social media abuse. Enough is enough!”

Mudiwa Hood said he had already made a police report and plans to file a lawsuit against Holy Ten and all parties involved in the podcast.

“I made a police report, and after the case I will file a lawsuit!,” he said.

“The law in Zimbabwe is very clear on this, Section 164B of the Cyber and Data Protection Act... which prohibits the intentional and unlawful generation and sending of data messages that coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to another person.”

Mudiwa Hood is a Christian rapper who has been open about his faith and values.

He has been featured in various entertainment news outlets, including Youth Village Zimbabwe, which highlighted ten interesting facts about him.

Mudiwa Hood has also ventured into acting and has been recognized for his music, with nine award nominations and four hip-hop awards under his belt.
