Mthuli Ncube launches Kulture Studios in Byo

FINANCE and Economic Development minister Mthuli Ncube, under the Mthuli Ncube Foundation has launched a music recording studio in Bulawayo

FINANCE and Economic Development minister Mthuli Ncube, under the Mthuli Ncube Foundation has launched a music recording studio in Bulawayo under the banner Kulture Studios.

“I have launched Kulture Studios, through the Mthuli Ncube Foundation, which is supporting music artists in Bulawayo, but will support the whole country eventually due to the high quality of equipment,” said Ncube.

“The studio comes after the youths in Bulawayo approached me to assist them to raise funds to set up a recording studio. I agreed to help them. The studio will nurture talent that will be exported outside the city and country. We need more of these initiatives as they add value to the arts and culture sector,” he said.

Studio manager Qhelokuhle Dube said the studio is currently recording artists for free and it thrives to be the best in the city and country.

“We have roped in producer T Man of Mt Zion Studios to help set up the studio. We shall have resident producers and guest producers coming in to work with our local artists. We have received good numbers since the inception of the studio and we look forward to more,” he said.
