Twenty YEAR-OLD fashion designer Dylan Ngoshi, popularly known as Saint Danger has explained his rather 'weird' denim outfit, which hogged the limelight at the recently held Fabrik Party hosted by Skeyi and Strobo.
The denim garment made out of recycled material covered every part of Ngoshi's body with a veil covering his face and a long train extended from the back of the fabric.
Ngoshi said the outfit represents broken pieces of his ex-girlfriend's heart.
"That piece was inspired by my ex and my past relationship with her," Ngoshi told the Standard Style.
"When I started dating her, I always felt that she was broken inside and that I could save her or maybe put her back together because of the love I had for her.
"I refer to the piece as my ex-girlfriend, the piece features different parts of her broken self I stitched together so she can be one and be well.
"I made the piece very long to represent the long distance which we had that set us apart."
Ngoshi said the desire to wear unusual and trendy garments inspired him to get into designing.

"Growing up I taught myself to sew and design clothes. I wanted to put on trendy and unusual clothes that I would have stitched myself," he said.
"I was inspired by Demna Gvasalia the creative director at Balenciaga to express yourself in whatever way you want and locally I'm inspired by Tapfumanei Munenge. So that's when l started expressing myself through fashion designing."
Saint Danger represented Zimbabwe at the Eswatini's Luju Festival which took place this year in August. He showcased his unique upcycling brand Saint Academy, a runway debut which he said embodied transformation or change.
