HIGHLANDERS have dismissed widespread social media claims that star player Mongameli Tshuma has completed a US$200 000 move to ambitious, title chasing Hardrock, saying negotiations are still ongoing.
Bosso acting chairman Kindman Ndlovu yesterday said although Hardrock had tabled an offer for the highly-rated midfielder, no agreement had been reached.
"There is nothing on paper. We have had discussions with them (Hardrock). But there is nothing on paper yet. They are interested in the player and they have made their offer. It is under consideration but remember we are also talking to Caps United and Hunters also put up an offer and Kruger from South Africa are also interested in the player. But there is nothing on paper," Ndlovu said.
Ndlovu's remarks come after social media was awash with reports claiming Hardrock had already secured Tshuma's signature in a record US$200 000 transfer.
Instead, Highlanders are looking at all offers from other clubs before deciding the player's future.
Coach Benjani Mwaruwari recently acknowledged growing interest in the midfielder, saying Tshuma would leave the Bulawayo giants only when the time was right for both the player and the club.
Tshuma has been one of Highlanders' standout performers this season, attracting interest from clubs in Zimbabwe and South Africa, but Bosso insist no transfer has been concluded.
Tshuma displayed a stellar performance on Sunday at Rufaro Stadium, despite Highlanders losing 4-2 to Caps United in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match.

In a post match interview, Mwaruwari had this to say concerning Tshuma.
"Mongameli is a very good player, even though he still has to develop a little bit. He is not scoring enough but he is creating enough. Sometimes it takes time...He is a a very talented young man," Mwaruwari said.
