TRIANGLE.............................(2)3
TRIANGLE FC compounded Kwekwe United's woes yesterday, outclassing them 3-0 in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Bata Stadium.
Goals from Aaron Zeka, Joel Munsaka and Witness Shave secured maximum points for the Lowveld side, ending their three-match winless run.
Triangle started the match at a high tempo, with Thabani Kamusoko controlling the midfield.
Their first real chance fell to Menford Mudzimu, who missed the target.
For Kwekwe United, Farai Mutatu hit the side netting from a tight angle.
Triangle broke the deadlock on the half-hour mark when Aaron Zeka skillfully darted the ball home after beating Kwekwe United's offside trap.

Joel Munsaka calmly converted a penalty on the stroke of half-time to double the visitors’ advantage, sending goalkeeper Elton Nechiware the wrong way.
Witness Shave extended Triangle's lead to three goals on the hour mark. Shave's powerful shot from close range proved too much for Nechiware to handle.
Triangle coach Genesis Mangombe expressed his relief at the win.
"It's a good response from the boys considering the task ahead of us," he said.
"If we want to get out of the relegation zone, we need to start collecting maximum points. We cannot afford to lose points at all. Maybe if it's a difficult match, we have to force a draw.
"I'm happy that they managed to score even twice, which means we are doing something right. I'm also pleased with the boys because they showed character, especially given our recent schedule. We played on Sunday, travelled on Wednesday, and then had a match on Thursday, so there was not enough rest for the boys. But I'm happy that they managed to play and secure a convincing win," he said.
His counterpart, Paul Chimalizeni, was a disappointed man.
“We conceded three goals and we were punished," he lamented. "We did not mark well when they were attacking us.
“This is why I've been saying lately, I need players who have premiership experience. That's where my worry is. I hope when we get to the winning period, I'm going to get the players," Chimalizeni said.
