ZPC Kariba edges Yadah FC in thrilling encounter

Yadah FC

IN a closely contested match, ZPC Kariba emerged victorious against Yadah FC, thanks to a solitary goal from Fanuel Shoko in the 29th minute.

The match was filled with exciting moments, with both teams creating numerous scoring opportunities.

The game got off to a lively start, with Yadah FC's Chikumba Tanaka missing a volley in the fourth minute after a nimble touch from Jerry Chipangura.

ZPC Kariba's defense held firm, however, and the game remained goalless until the 29th minute when Fanuel Shoko scored with a well-placed long ball that left Yadah FC players in its wake.

Despite the goal, ZPC Kariba continued to create scoring opportunities, with Wayne Kamurai having efforts go off target.

Yadah FC, on the other hand, struggled to penetrate ZPC Kariba's defense, with their goalkeeper Taimon Mvula making several crucial saves.

In the second half, Yadah FC came out stronger, with Jerry Chipangura facing ZPC Kariba goalkeeper Future Sibanda in the 71st minute.

However, it was ZPC Kariba who continued to threaten, with Moses Demera missing a clear goal in the 72nd minute after coming on as a substitute.

Despite the pressure from Yadah FC in the second half, ZPC Kariba's defense held firm, and they were able to see out the win.

"We fought the fight, unfortunately, we could not make it," said Yadah FC coach Takaendesa Jongwe after the match. "We had more chances, but we were not patient, we were a bit hurrying."

ZPC Kariba coach Newton Chitewe was pleased with his team's performance, saying, "The boys played well, unfortunately, we failed to utilize most of the chances that came our way."

Chitewe added that his team would look to improve their finishing in upcoming matches.

The win is a significant boost for ZPC Kariba, and they will look to build on this momentum in their next match.
