SCOTTLAND have received a major boost ahead of their big clash against Caps United at the weekend as star man Khama Billiat took part in training yesterday.
The Tonderai Ndiraya-coached side is busy preparing for what promises to be a cracker against the former champions at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.
The winger missed his new club's opener on Friday, a 1-0 win over fellow promoted side Triangle, due to a knock picked in pre-season camp, but was all smiles as he took part in full training with the rest of the first team squad yesterday.
No official comment could be obtained from the club, but sources confirmed to NewsDay Sport that the midfielder had fully recovered and available for selection at the weekend.
"He trained with the rest of the squad and he should be available for selection on Sunday," a source said.
Billiat has not faced Caps United since his much-publicised return to the domestic league last season when he joined Yadah.
He missed the first game against the Green Machine due to injury and was suspended for the reverse fixture.
Billiat's return to the Scottland team is expected to bring the verve after the well-resourced team failed to live up to their pre-season billing against Triangle.

For all their glamour and glitter, the flamboyant side was disjointed and was saved the blushes by a stoppage-time own goal from Blessing Chiota to claim their first debut league win.
Scottland were outplayed by a determined and well-drilled Triangle side who have just returned to the topflight league.
After the match, Ndiraya conceded that his richly-assembled side was not "a team yet" and pleaded for time to gel.
“We always knew that it was going to be difficult. But despite having a galaxy of stars in our team, I think it's important to understand that football is a process," Ndiraya said.
“You may buy whoever you want from the market, but in the end, the players have to understand each other and play as a team in the long run.”
Ndiraya added: “So, that is a process. It does not happen in one day. It does not happen during pre-season, so I think with more games, the team will then start to play as a team. At the moment, we are not a team yet. But I think what is important is what we have done here today.”
The Caps United-Scottland clash is the peak of the weekend fixtures which also has other interesting duels.
The weekend programme starts on Friday with Yadah hosting Chicken Inn with the two teams looking for their first wins of the season. Yadah lost their opener away to Manica Diamonds while Chicken Inn was held at home by Bikita Minerals.
