ZPC Kariba's struggles continued as they were held by Arenel Movers at home in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match yesterday.

Despite controlling the game, the home team failed to convert a large chunk of chances.

Hardworking Leeroy Murape's effort in the 25th minute failed to break the deadlock and 15 minutes later ZPC Kariba tried again through Stanley Ngala but Arenel Movers goal keeper Aaron Ngwenya was at hand to save his team.

ZPC Kariba's struggles in front of goal continued in the second period.

Arenel Movers made threats of their own especially with Zibusiso Dambo with the ball at his feet.

Arenel Movers  demonstrated good ball control and passing skills, which allowed them to build up their attacks efficiently. Despite that they were unable to find the back of the net and break the deadlock.

ZPC Kariba head coach Newman Chitewe praised the team's effort even though the result was a disappointment.

"This is a game of football. We played our party as a team, but unfortunately we couldn't manage to score," said Chitewe.

"We will continue to work on our weak areas so that we bring good results to our fans."

Arennel Movers head coach Farai Tawachera was happy with a draw away from home.

"A draw away means hard work for my boys," said Sawachera.

"We played well as a team, but we failed to turn the balls into goals and that was not our expectation. Going forward we need to work on our finishing."
