AN alleged paedophile appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube on Thursday accused of exposing two female juveniles to pornographic videos.
Francis Ranga Moyo (59) was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody to today for bail hearing.
The girls are aged 11 and 12.
It is alleged that on March 26 at around 1pm, one of the juveniles was on her way home from school when she met the accused, who reportedly asked her to watch a video of water melons on his mobile phone and she agreed.
The court heard that Moyo, however, showed her a pornographic video.
Using the same modus operandi, Moyo approached another juvenile on the same day and showed her a pornographic video.
The victims then informed their guardians who filed a police report, leading to the arrest of the accused.
Moyo’s cellphone is held in court as an exhibit.
