HARARE, Jul.31 (NewsDay Live) - The atmosphere in Harare and most parts of the country remains tense following calls for mass protests against the recently passed Constitutional Amendment Act (CAA)3.

Some businesses have remained closed for fear of violent protests, but others are operating as usual.

Public service vehicles in some residential areas have remained parked as drivers cautiously monitor the situation.

There are fewer people in the central business districts of  Harare and Bulawayo.
