Government deploys 35 buses for SA returnees... as Tungwarara pledges 50 for Manicaland

Government has deployed 35 buses to repatriate citizens from South Africa following widespread protests and xenophobic attacks targeting foreign nationals in parts of the neighbouring country.

In an update issued on Monday, the Department of Presidential Communications said the government had intensified efforts to bring home Zimbabweans wishing to return, with buses dispatched to key centres including Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban.

Meanwhile, special adviser to the President Paul Tungwarara announced he would avail 50 busses at theBeitbridge border post for Zimbabwean citizens from Manicaland province.
