Bulawayo police probe city murder

Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele identified the deceased as Mlimisi Ncube.

BULAWAYO, June 23 (NewsDay Live) - Police have launched murder investigations after a 52-year-old man was found lying lifeless with stab wounds in Old Magwegwe. 

Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele identified the deceased as Mlimisi Ncube.

"On June 22 at around 0510am, a motorist 43 year old male adult was driving along Hyde Park Road when he discovered the body of the now deceased," Msebele said.

She said Ncube of Pelandaba West was found lying dead on the side of the road at Makaratini turn-off, Old Magwegwe.

He had two stab wounds on the right side of the chest.

"Investigations are on- going. We appeal to anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the accused persons to report at any nearest police station," said Msebele.
