THE bail ruling for Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) senior journalist Blessed Mhlanga has been deferred to Friday as the presiding magistrate Farai Gwitima is said to be attending a funeral.

Stand-in magistrate Marehwazvo Gofa announced the development Thursday afternoon.

Mhlanga was arrested Monday and brought to court the following day Tuesday facing two counts of inciting public violence through broadcasts of firebrand war veteran and nemesis to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Blessed “Bombshell” Geza’s Press conferences on AMH’s broadcast unit HStv.

Geza is reportedly on the run.
