HARARE, Feb 10 (NewsDayLive) - Two men have been arrested in connection with a robbery that took place on February 8 at a house along Strattford Road in Greystone Park, Borrowdale.
Knowledge Muturugudu (35) and Luckmore Nhau (46) allegedly attacked the victim before stealing US$220 in cash, police said on X.
“The complainant’s scream for help alerted neighbours who quickly mobilized and assisted in the apprehension of the suspects,” said the police.
“The arrest led to the recovery of the stolen money.”
In an unrelated case, police have arrested a 32-year-old for allegedly killing his mother in Westgate, on Saturday, over an undisclosed issue.
The victim was found dead with multiple wounds on the head.
