WESTPROP Holdings’ famed Pokugara Estate has been sold out, the company’s chief executive officer has revealed.
Pokugara, which is part of the visionary Millennium City, redefines Harare’s luxury landscape and boasts 151 exquisite units (manors, villas, garden flats) and uninterrupted water supply cable internet connection.
WestProp chief executive Ken Sharpe said they were committed to delivering finished products to their clients.
“At least 25 finished houses will be handed over to owners within six weeks,” he said.
Sharpe said prospective homeowners were clamouring for WestProp to replicate Pokugara’s success at other properties.
However, Sharpe hinted at new and exciting estate models.
“There will only be one Pokugara. We have other innovative designs to showcase and thrill new homeowners,” he said.
Pokugara stands out because of its prime location that is surrounded by shopping malls, schools and entertainment venues within a 2km radius.
The estate, which mirrors Dubai-style developments, is a secure community with luxury world-class amenities, unmatched finishes and seamless integration with other developments housed under the Millennium City banner.
Sharpe, whose company boasts several gated communities, said most neighbourhoods were being transformed into smart cities.
“Our developments can best be described as smart cities, digital cities, wired cities, intelligent cities among a host of other adjectives used to describe the modernity and luxury lifestyle we are introducing,” he said.

WestProp boasts Pokugara Residential Estate consisting of 147 high-end townhouses and stand-alone residential homes, while Millennium Heights, which consists of 1 000 apartments varying in size from studio to four bedrooms, also includes the Millennium Office Park and the flagship Mall of Zimbabwe.
“The entire development will be decorated with beautiful parkland including the rehabilitated wetland core which will introduce birdlife, aqualife and allow residents to look at a beautiful lake feature similar to Dubai Hills in Dubai or Hyde Park in London,” he said.
