inDrive introduces courier services

RIDE-HAILING platform, inDrive, has added courier services

RIDE-HAILING platform, inDrive, has added courier services to its growing list of offerings for the convenience for its clients in the country.

In addition to its recently established ride-share and intercity services, inDrive has pledged to “challenge injustice” in terms of pricing and service delivery in the freight sector.

“This expansion marks a significant milestone in inDrive’s mission to challenge injustice by offering fair, affordable, and people-driven services to communities across Zimbabwe,” inDrive said in a statement.

“With the launch of the new courier service, individuals and businesses can now send packages safely and efficiently,” it added.

The platform’s representative in Zimbabwe, Kudzai Jeke said the new project is part of their expansion drive as they attempt to go nationwide. “We are thrilled to expand our footprint in Zimbabwe. With our presence in Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru, and Mutare, we’re making strides towards offering fair and more accessible mobility solutions to the Zimbabwean community,” said Jeke, adding: “The launch of our courier services, alongside our existing intercity service and ride-hailing, reflects our commitment to addressing local needs and challenges, empowering residents and businesses with greater convenience and opportunities for growth.”

A global mobility and urban services platform operating in 779 cities across 46 countries, inDrive’s unique model  allows users to negotiate costs directly, and has gained widespread favorability in Zimbabwe.

The application’s “name your price” model continues to challenge industry norms, promoting fairness in pricing while ensuring quality service to customers.
