Prominent trade unionist Obert Masaraure has been convicted for obstruction of justice after inciting the public, through social media, to protest against the prosecution of fellow trade union leader Robson Chere who has been implicated in the murder of educationist Roy Issa in 2016.
Masaraure was convicted Wednesday by regional magistrate Feresi Chakanyuka. He now awaits sentencing.
