POLICE say a four month old baby died last Saturday whilst strapped on its mother’s back after she was assaulted in Shamva over adultery accusations.
In a statement yesterday, police said the infant died while strapped on its 23-year old mother’s back.

They said Kanyoka had accused Dhirau of having an extra-marital affair with her husband, which then led to the fight.

In an unrelated matter, police appealed for information which might lead to the arrest of Judge Evans Zinzombe (36) who is being sought in connection with a case of murder which occurred on December 7, 2022 at a house in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo.
Police said the suspect allegedly sneaked into a room where his wife, Phelomina Mabika (32), daughter (12) and son (7) were sleeping, before strangling the wife to death.
The couple was reportedly having marital problems, forcing them to sleep in separate rooms.
