IT’S here!

The Stanbic Jacaranda Music Festival, running from October 3–5, 2025.

And, oooh, there is a whole enchanting line-up waiting to set the three-day fiesta on fire, already one of Zimbabwe’s premier music festivals.

Jacaranda Day in Zimbabwe is all about celebrating the beautiful Jacaranda trees that bloom in the country, particularly in Harare.

These vibrant purple flowers create a breath-taking canopy, making Harare one of the most picturesque cities in Africa during Spring.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Harare’s purple jacaranda blossoms, the festival promises three days of unforgettable performances, cross cultural collaborations, and immersive artistic experiences.

It continues to position itself as a key event on Zimbabwe’s cultural calendar, drawing fans from across the region and the world.

South African Afro-pop music group Mafikizolo will perform at the music fest.

Formed in 1996 and now consisting of composer Theo Kgosinkwe lead singer Nhlanhla Mafu, after third member Tebogo Madingoane (composer) was shot dead in 2004, the group has been around for some time, staging many performances in Zimbabwe.

Their famous songs include Ndihamba Nawe, Sibongile, Kwela Kwela, Khona, Mas’thokoze and Emlanjeni, among many others.

Also performing at the Stanbic Jacaranda Music Festival will be ExQ, an Urban Grooves artiste who rose to fame in 2000 after releasing his hit song Musalala.

From then onwards, EX-Q has been a force to reckon with, releasing more hits such as Pandakakuona, Mazirudo, Nzenza, Tsvigiri, Bhachura, Nezvangu and Wakatemba, with plenty more.

South African a capella group The Soil will also be among the headline acts.

Other notable artistes are Vusi Nova, Murumba Pitch, Made Her Believe, Spunj, Ace Fvrr and Agga Nyabinde.

South African recording artiste, DJ and record producer Oskido (born Oscar Sibonginkosi Mdlongwa), famed for the songs Ngizimisele, Okokgcina, Ntwana Yam, Say Kunkra and Tsa Mandebele, among others, will be there as well, and so will be Chucknosis, known for his unique blend of house and soul.

Monsterdj, a rising star on the decks, Kamo Mpela, an Amapiano sensation with unmatched energy, Afro-fusion innovator Jinger Stone will light up the joint, as Jazzworx and Thukuthela bring a live jazz experience.

Also present will be Afro-dancehall singer, songwriter and recording artiste Enzo Ishall (real name Kudzanai Stephen Mamhare), known for his hit songs Kanjiva, Muchiround, Siya Something, Magate, Bhiza, Urikutsvireiko, among many other hits.

Candeleros, from Spain, an international flavour with a fusion of Latin and African rhythms, will also fly in for the music festival, as well as Diamond Musica, a legendary rhumba band with roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe

Organisers have hinted at more surprises to come, including workshops, food stalls and art exhibitions.

With this powerful line-up, the 2025 Jacaranda Music Festival is shaping up to be the most dynamic edition yet.

The Stanbic Jacaranda Music Festival 2025 is commonly known for its diverse line-up of local and international artistes, spanning various genres like Afrobeats, Amapiano, pop, indie and EDM.
