HIP-HOP musician Bagga We Ragga (pictured) will tomorrow stage a high-energy mega concert at the Aquatic Complex in Chitungwiza his home ground.

Billed the biggest musical blowout of the season, Pandemic boasts a fired-up line-up of Zimbabwe’s most electrifying artistes, who include Bling 4, Voltz, Saintfloew, Hwinza, Kayflow and Jnr Spragga.

Also present will be Hwindi President, Runa Rules, Nisha Ts, Kikky Badass, Yung Gemin, Silent Killer, Merciless Zimbabwe, and many others.

Over 25 acts will take to the stage, delivering an explosive blend of dancehall, hip-hop and urban sounds.

The concert’s title, Pandemic, is a nod to the powerful, contagious energy organisers plan to unleash.

“The title Pandemic reflects the unstoppable energy and impact I aim to bring with this event,” Bagga said.

“Just like a pandemic spreads globally and shakes things up, this show is meant to disrupt the music scene with high energy, bold creativity and unforgettable performances. It is also a metaphor for how my sound is spreading — fast and uncontrollably — one city, one fan at a time.

“We are running a tight, action-packed programme that will keep the energy high all night,” Bagga added.

But this is not just a one-off. According to Bagga, Pandemic marks the beginning of something much bigger.

“This is the first outbreak of a concert series we plan to take across Zimbabwe and eventually, the region,” he said.

“This show is a preview of what is coming. We’re building momentum for a full tour in 2026.”

Bagga teased what fans can expect from his performance, saying: “Expect a set that is raw, powerful and personal. I will be performing fan favourites, some unreleased tracks and a few surprise remixes.

“It is going to be a full experience — with live instruments, visuals, choreography and real crowd connection. This is not just a performance it is a statement.”

He added: “The Pandemic line-up is stuffed with talent and I’m planning a few unexpected collabos. I will not spoil everything, but trust me — there will be some explosive moments with artistes you know and love. We are making history together on that stage.”

With some of Zimbabwe’s best DJs and MCees, including DJ Gunz, DJ Skeltor, MC Gudo and DJ Mawaya set to light up the decks, and a heavyweight roster of performers, Pandemic promises to be one of the defining cultural moments of this year.
