SUPER Size Me Africa is set to empower curves as Super Size Me Africa Zimbabwe takes centre stage with a ground-breaking event that will celebrate plus-size women in all their glory.
The event, scheduled for tomorrow, at the Spitzkop Leisure Centre in Harare, promises to be an unforgettable experience, bringing together over 300 guests for a day of fashion, wellness, music, entrepreneurship and cultural celebration.
The event is more than just a celebration, it’s a movement aimed at promoting self-love and inclusivity.
Through a plus-size modelling showcase, wellness and team-building sessions, Afrobeat dance, poetry and live performances, attendees will be treated to an unforgettable experience.
“Super Size Me is a bold, proud reclaiming of size, space and strength,” said Alice Chinya, founder of Super Size Me Africa Zimbabwe.
“It celebrates African beauty beyond narrow standards and is a call for women to stand tall, own their curves and feel unapologetically powerful.”
The event is designed to cater for a diverse audience, including plus-size women, aspiring models, designers, wellness professionals, artists, small businesses, vendors and families.
With a fun kids’ zone and vendor exhibitions, there’s something for everyone.
