TSHOLOTSHO-BASED artiste, Preside Sympathy Ndlovu, popularly known as Cubiccky, rocked fans at the Matabeleland North Independence Day celebration which were held in Tsholotsho last Friday.
The guest of honour at the ceremony held at a business centre was Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution in Matabeleland North, Richard Moyo.
The musician said he enjoyed the performance and that it was a memorable experience, as there was a large turnout at the event marking Zimbabwe's 45th year of independence.
"I really enjoyed performing at the event, although I wasn't feeling well. I made sure that I delivered the best performance to my loyal fans," Cubiccky told NewsDay Life & Style.
He said his album titled Amazolo was set for release on May 25.
”My upcoming album, Amazolo, features 14 tracks that reflect my life journey, including my experiences as a husband, father and artiste navigating the industry. I'm excited to share this personal side of myself with my audience,” Cubiccky said.
The Ixesha Lami hitmaker said the tracks had a lot of depth and were based on everyday occurrences that he found relatable with most of his fans.
"As for expectations for my album, I hope Amazolo resonates with my fans on a deeper level, sparks meaningful conversations and solidifies my place in the music industry," he said.
