AWARD-WINNING gospel music performers Ebuka Songs and Sunmisola Elizabeth Agbebi Okeleye were at their best, lighting up the Prophesied Relentless Worship Encounter at the United Family International Church’s (UFIC) Basilica in Chitungwiza on Saturday.
The duo was complemented by UFIC Choir, Michael Mahendere, Larry Gunda, Tapiwa Masara, Carol Nyakuba and Hubert Chigumira for the second edition of the Prophesied Relentless Worship Encounter.
Basilica, which was filled to the rafters and reverberated with chorus and screams of joy, was graced by several dignitaries, including Nigerian ambassador to Zimbabwe H.E Lazarus Kpasaba and his wife, and Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa.
From the moment Nigeria’s gospel luminaries Ebuka Songs and Sunmisola stepped off the plane and were warmly received by the organising team to the final crescendo of praise at the United Family in Christ Church Basilica in Chitungwiza, the Relentless Worship Encounter 2025 (Second Edition) unfolded like a divine orchestration.
The spiritual atmosphere was thick with expectation, and as the UFIC Choir ignited the sanctuary with vibrant melodies of praise and prophetic declarations, it became clear that this was the fulfilment of the prophesied gathering.
Dignitaries, saints and seekers alike were swept into waves of worship, healing, and heartfelt deliverance.
Sunmisola challenged the youth and the rest of the congregation to remain in Christ and live by the word.
She provided a call to worship through a powerful message before she paced her old and new songs often merging them as she was driven by the Holy Spirit. She sang You are Yahweh, Holy, Your Presence and Yeshua.

Ebuka Songs, who arrived in the country at 2pm on Saturday, proceeded to the venue and directed the worship and praise encounter with songs like I Will Pray, Calling My Name, The Name of Jesus, Jesus Christ is Seen, Jesus Oh (ft Moses Bliss), What I Preach, Total Submission and Fade Away, among others.
His performance had prayer sessions, confessions and deliverance as people walked to the altar with their offering.
Ebuka Songs, born Ebuka Emmanuel Hillary, said he had a great time and a worship experience, and above all, was happy that his mission to come and meet with the Lord God was fulfilled.
The UFIC Choir set the ball rolling with songs like Eternal One, You are Holy, Ichokwadi Mwari Ariko, Ndinokurira, Hande and Najesu Tinosvika.
Masara followed and got into deep worship through songs like Jesu Anoda Vanhu Vake, Kupindura Anondinzwa Ndichinamata, Mipinduro yemibvunzo and Rumbidzo.
Nyakuba preached through the songs Ndati Ndokumbira Moyo Wangu, Ndaigara Pachikona, You’re Yahweh and Mutsvene.
Chigumira psalmed Thank you, Lord, He reigns and I will worship.
Larry Gunda guided the congregation into worship with songs like Hatisati Tazviona, Yahweh Yahweh, Tahwina, You are not a man and Kana Mwari Akurangarira, respectively.
Michael Mahendere, closing the night with unmatched excellence and fervour, stirred the youth once again towards spiritual growth through musical and pastoral training, declaring that success in ministry begins with grounded devotion and preparation.
With songs like Pamunokomborera Vanhu Venyu and Messiah, the Basilica became a melting pot of joy, unity and empowerment. Mahendere will be holding the Messiah Tours in Mutare, Bulawayo and the UK from August 30.
“Live a life that reflects on the songs you sing. To be successful in ministering the word of God, there is a need for adequate grounding through working on your skills. I urge all my fellow youthful ministers to live by the word,” Mahendere said.
The Relentless Worship Encounter 2025 lived up to its billing as it was filled with testimonies of healing, deliverance, renewed purpose and salvation that flooded every corner of the sanctuary.
As the curtain came down, it became abundantly that the prophecy was fulfilled, the worship was relentless and the encounter was realised.
