HARARE State Lottery Hall (opposite Joina City) will tomorrow be a hive of activity as Jinel International Talent Agency (JITA) will be hosting auditions for creative talent in dance, theatre, music, visual art, football, models, poets and actors for a grooming residency.
The event will run from 9am to 2pm.
JITA founder Jenny Shipanga told NewsDay Life & Style that she is driven and inspired by her passion to unlock raw, authentic talent across Africa, especially in communities where potential often goes unnoticed.
“As JITA, our goal is to create a platform that not only showcases talent, but also nurtures and connects it to international opportunities,” she said.
“This show is about legacy, confidence and helping people to realise that their gift is saleable, regardless of where one comes from.”
JITA has an open audition process, where individuals from all creative disciplines — singing, dance, spoken word, fashion, acting and more — can showcase their craft.
It will be looking for polished performers in addition to raw and untapped talent.
The jury, which comprises seasoned industry professionals, creative visionaries and cultural icons will base their assessments on originality, passion, confidence and stage presence.

In addition to that, the winners will be chosen based on talent, audience impact and consistency throughout the period between the day of auditions and the grand opening of the agency.
Public votes and judge scores will contribute to the final result.
“Ours is not just a matter of prizes but the desire to work hand-in-hand with talented people and help them to realise their true self,” Shipanga said.
“Prizes include professional mentorship, media exposure and most importantly opportunities and exposure to international stages availed through Jinels International Talent Agency.”
She encouraged those with potential to attend, enjoy free entertainment, while their creative talent is taken to another level.
