Calvin Mangena’s new offering “Ngiyavuma” ft Chillmaster

BULAWAYO, July 2 (NewsDay Live) -Zimbabwean hip-hop sensation Calvin Mangena, affectionately known as the Ndebele Prince, has once again proven why he's one of the top musicians in the country.

His latest single, "Ngiyavuma," featuring Chillmaster, has taken the airwaves by storm, racking up nearly 40 000 views on Yourself in just a day.

Speaking to NewsDay Live exclusively,Calvin Mangena revealed that the song's inspiration came from his own experiences with love.

“The time I came up with the song, I was courting a lady, and every time I saw her, I'd get tongue-tied and run out of words," he confessed.

“So, I wrote it down and took it to Eternity Studio, where I collaborated with Talics, Golden Fingers, and Leeroy."

The track's creation was a seamless process of collaboration and creativity, he said, with Chillmaster adding his verse after Mangena sent him the track.

“I remembered that he had promised me a verse in my next work so I sent him what we had cooked. The following day, he had done his part, and it was magic," Mangena said.

The music video for "Ngiyavuma" showcases the breathtaking scenery of Vumba in Mutare, promoting local tourism.

“We spent three days in the eastern highlands, and it was an amazing experience, at a place called Vumba in Mutare”, the award winner Mangena recalled.

"The energy was fresh, and we learned a lot from each other.ImA very special shout out to everyone who made it happen.

With "Ngiyavuma" already making waves, fans are eagerly awaiting Mangena's next move. Will he continue to dominate the airwaves with his unique blend of hip-hop and R&B? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – Calvin Mangena is here to stay.
