The hip-hop album dubbed Margaret is set to be released on March 28 in Richville, Kwekwe, and has songs Andimborega, Don’t wanna be, Rudo Ma1and Ndiudze, among others, which are projected to be hits.
The young artiste told Southern Eye Lifestyle that his latest album had songs that conveyed a love message and it took him two years to produce.
“I started working on the album in 2012 and wanted to thoroughly polish it. Most of the songs carry a love message that seeks to revive, heal and inspire those that still believe in love,” said Matare.
The album was produced at Jnr Mel Beats Studios under his own guidance and features renowned musicians such as Extra Large, Maskiri, Diana Samkange and Jeigh Man.
“I desire for my work to educate and entertain fans,” he said.
“Good Life did so well scooping a gong at the Midlands Music Awards and was nominated for the Zimbabwe Music Awards for best Afro-pop music in 2014.
“I believe this album will be better than the first because I’m now older and mature. I have learnt a lot musically from my mentors PoZee and Maskiri. I will likewise launch in Bulawayo, Kadoma, Gweru, Harare and Mutare.”

Matare boasts a rich Christian background and attributes his successes to God.
“I grew up in a Christian, God-fearing family and my childhood was God guided, which is a good thing as it made me escape a lot of teen drama,” he said.
“My inspiration is Jesus Christ, for in all He did, he put others first to the extent of giving up His life for all. I would not be where I am if it was not for Him and that is why I am optimistic of the future.”
